It was also the stupid things he did, like offloading at the wrong times and throwing the ball to the opposition.
Yeah, they made a big deal out of it but in the end they will be fine. Scott is a real solid traditional front rower. They will dominate up front for another few years. Unlike NSW
He had a bit of a Gallen-like game in attack. He played the full 80 and made huge amounts of metres with an extremely strong running game but made a few silly errors.
Scott and Shillington really haven't been that much at club level than the likes of Learoyd, Tolman, Douglas and Snowden - they just actually pick their best props and bring them through properly.
LOL. I love it how one 'average' game from Civo and he is over the hill and too old. He is still the best prop in the game. And Cribb, get off Birds cock, he wasn't that good.
Of course he was. Well that rules out Hodges and Inglis. I knew you wouldn't give Tate credit. You're ****ing pathetic sometimes.
I agree Bird's defence was ordinary - though certainly not as ordinary as Gallen's was in Game 3 this year and you didn't seem to care about that. But his attack was epic and to say he was any less than average, namely "shit", is preposterous.
GMAFB. **** throws a risky offload to the ground on first tackle that could've easily been swooped on by a Kiwi and that's a try assist? It was a simple one-on-one miss by Marshall on Cronk, from 25m out. If that's a try assist then every offload that precedes a try is one too. The second one, I can only assume you're referring to, was Morris's first. Again, GMAFB. Tate was the one who dove on the lose pass from FPN and got Australia in field position. And Tate was the one who caught the pill under pressure and got a great ball away for Morris. If running and unders line and then passing as soon as the tackler hits you, is a try assist, then again, a lot of second rowers and locks should have their TA tallies doubled. Give yourself an uppercut.
Tate laid on two tries for his winger, scored one himself, put on a clinic in defence and should've been MOTM. Wake up you ****s.
I agree with Gemmell about Sau being a shit **** but as MF suggested, Hodges would've been in all sorts trying to defend against him because he has two legs.
Reckon our future in the props looks a lot better than Qld's. Price just retired and Civoneciva's at the end of his career. Shillo and Scott are awesome but after that they're thin. We have a large group of potential origin performers: Learoyd Lahrs Snowden Douglas Mannah Tolman Gibbs And then there's a second lot including Grant, Tilse and co who have the potential to be there in the future as well IMO.
