Not sure about the price but I'd be happy with both. Can't say I've seen much of Ince though.

Would prefer we tied up a deal for Walcott though. And that doesn't seem likely if we get Ince & Sturridge in January considering we already have Suso, Sterling and Assaidi.

6 million for Ince and 12 for Sturridge is what i have heard.

For Ince despite the fact that you let him off for a free, it's a decent fees as there was some sort of buyback too, so might be reduced.

As for Sturridge it's bit over the top, but he should do decently at Pool.

Sweet. Pool to carve up now!!

  4. Lukic L Popovic

Yeah 2 average players worth a combined 18 million pounds. Can definitely see them carving up now...

Better than what they have now atleast. :p

sturridge especially will be a good signing i think. just needs a consistent run of games.

    Sturridge is average? Really?

He's definitely got the potential to be a top quality goalscoring winger.

Please tell me how many times you've seen Ince to define him as average?

We didn't let him leave on a free to be fair...

We offered him a new contract but he rejected it and wanted more first team football, which is fair enough.

He has improved a lot since his time for our under 18's/reserves.

Sturridge probably has potential to become a good goalscoring winger but don't Liverpool need a player that can make an almost immediate impact? Somehow I don't see this with Sturridge. Could be wrong of course but from the few games I've seen of him this season, he's had quite poor decision making.

will be very interesting if chelsea let him leave. literally just leaves Torres as the out and out striker. they must have a couple of targets lined up to replace sturridge pretty quickly.

I don't think any Liverpool fans realistically think we'll get into the top four this year, or even next year, really. But he's definitely able to be a part of a top four team in the future, I'm sure. Plus he's still a short-term improvement on anything we've currently got.

Sturridge is a very typical England player, insofar that he's really, really ok. He'll probably be a good signing, put in some good performances, score a decent amount of goals, but also come up short against the better sides and have Liverpool fans pulling their hair out every now and again. Won't set the world alight, but could do a job. The fact that Liverpool have basically one goal scorer means that I'd say this was a pretty good signing on the whole.

No idea what Ince is like.

Sturridge is better than Borini probably in that wing foward role that Rodgers likes. He's nothing special, but will suit the system well and get some goals.

He isn't a winger though, more of a Wing forward and can fill in at Striker too.

Yeah, that's what i meant. It's similar to Pogba leaving us somewhat, though his attitude was a problem too.

I saw him 3 times only recently, and even though he seems a good talent and has a good left foot nothing really stood out. Will probably be a improvement on what Downing has been though and i young, so room for improvement.

Looks like Sneijder won't be coming to England. http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereve...check-as-wesley-sneijder-heads-for-milan-exit

If United sign anyone I hope it's Baines. Evra really just isnt good enough anymore.

Wouldn't mind Nani leaving if we replaced him in the summer with someone like Gotze. He goes through spells of being incredible but then he's very average after that. Really is the most inconsistent man in our team.

  17. Cevno IV Narang

Gotze won't be available, i reckon. And even if he is, will cost a bomb.

    40 million +, i think.

  18. Cevno IV Narang

Evra hasn't been that bad this season tbh. He was poor last season, but has been Ok this season. Baines would be a improvement right now though.

Sir Alex, has come out and said that we " definitely won't sign anyway", but not sure what to make of it as it's Sir Alex. :p

I genuinely don't think we need to sign anyone at this stage. The only reason we'll sign anyone is if United's scouting team find a steal that they're worried wont come our way if we wait until the summer.

We could do with a new LB and a DM but with everyone now returning to full fitness I think we've got more than required in terms of our squad

Baines would cost a lot of money.

Ince and Sturridge are good players. Bit of a shitter for someone like Suso, though, you'd imagine he'd be pushed back a bit with Ince coming in.
