    Very unexpected one there.

25 maybe max. Can't see anyone paying more than that tbh, unless somebody like Chelsea or City went Crazy.

He is pushing to keep his big wages.

Haha, tbf they are reasonably accurate as far as predicting these things go. Certainly better than tabloids.

    Everton are very good sellers.

Everton often get great transfer fees

  7. Cevno IV Narang

Who have they sold for a great fee ?

Besides, you need buyers interested willing to pay that too.

    £20+ million for Rooney.
    £24 million for Lescott.
    £15 million for Rodwell.
    £10 million for Arteta.
We got £4 million for Beckford.
    £10.5 million for Andy Johnson.
Somehow sold Marcus Bent for £2 million.
Beattie for £4 million, McFadden for £4.5 million.

All great fees in their own way.

    10.5m for AJ. Unbelievable that

£8m for Jeffers as well right?

Which will happen for Felliani, top player.

Yeah, I was only looking as far back as the last few years.

£6.5 million for Michael Ball, same price for Oliver Dacourt.

The bolded were fair fees at the time tbh.

Lescott were just City being City, while the rest are lower level sales.

It's a good record yeah, but it's not like a Porto say for example, who have had many big money transfers.

Very few midfielders have gone above 25 million, and not many clubs can pay that anyway.

Unless, a Oil Club went crazy can't see anyone paying above 25 tbh. He is very good, no doubt but not spectacular good.

City definitely overpaid for Rodwell and Lescott and I don't think you could flat out say £30m for Rooney was justified at the time. In hindsight, sure.

Lescott yeah, but for Rodwell it was pretty much a going price with him being English.

Plus he has good talent and still can be a decent squad player for them despite this season. And they needed English players to fill the Home grown slots too.

Rooney was 20 rising to 25/26. Was a Ok price considering his talent was obvious and that he had already performed at the International level and also in the PL. Also, was English.
