We would only need a spare hooker if they don't play 80 minutes?

I assume some hookers will be fitter than others?

    That doesn't make sense.

Yeah, indeed. You need to be pretty ****ing fit to play 80 at hooker given you're at virtually every ruck in attack and are the most involved in defence other than the lock.

Something like that would work well for Brisbane.

Wingers should take more dummy half runs than the fullbacks, not sure if you can make it into a percentage like with Fullbacks chiming in back line movements.

Also Half should drop in behind the line for chip kicks (if there are any).... seems to be becoming a trend of halves to drop back as a sort of shallow 2nd fullback on last tackle.

  5. Cribbage RG Cribb

Yeah that already happens. Fullbacks only take dummy half runs when wingers make kick returns and get tackled on the 0.

David Stagg to murder the lock position.

Especially since ending up in the halves or hooker is optional now. It's can basically just be second row/centre in attack and one across from the ruck in defence.

What's the commentary output like? Is it still what you showed us before or improved?

Lots of flat passes being thrown...Need refs with more balls to make a call, IMO.

Not bad at all. I guess you can't really help the fact that it would get repetitive. Although it is great because it means less cause for live simmage.

  12. Cribbage RG Cribb

Yeah, I think just posting one set of six at a time would work pretty well for live simmage TBH.

Otherwise commentary files can just be attached to posts for optional download.

Will we be aware of who the best goalkicker in the team is?
    (in the sim :p)

  14. Cribbage RG Cribb

The best goalkicker on the field at the time will automatically be chosen as kicker.

Why can't everyone just be happy with cricsim.

Yeah as I said in the RLSim forum, I'll be finishing this off between Season 9 and Season 10 of CricSim.
