Chance to get a look at Miller in a domestic game very shortly: http://cricmelive.com/espn-3-live-streaming.php One dayer though, and the pitch doesn't look all that bad.
The Ranji isn't all flat tracks and spinner dominated as is the stereotype. In some of the places in the North you have some of the most seamer friendly wickets you'll probably find in the world. Spinners rarely make the top few bowlers in each season. It's always medium pacers dominating. I'm not saying there aren't flat decks, there obviously are those around like the Chidambaran. Last season was ridiculous too, with lots of draws and Jadeja with his triple hundreds. This season has been a massive improvement. The reason why there are h4x stats is like what Baxter and PEWS mentioned, the dilution of talent and the gulf between the worst and the best players. It's why the Duleep trophy is a better indication, but the issue there is that they play so little of it that you don't have a big enough sample size to judge a player from.
Fair point. For me, I was under the impression like Prez that there was a lot of flat tracks in the Ranji as in contrast to other nations there seems to be a lot of batsman with h4x batting stats and not that many with h4x bowling stats, but it looks like I was comparing it to ridiculously bowler-friendly tournaments with a lot of teams such as Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Yeah I'd kind of just assumed that the pitches would be spin friendly. It actually makes a lot of sense that they're pacer-oriented, as I was quite confused at the lack of spinners in the highest wicket-takers list. Point still stands that batting averages are highly bloated though; just for a different reason to what I initially said
Dilly L added. And with that, the Cobras also announce a batting order change. Code: Name Matches Runs Ave Wickets Ave 1. Harsh Khadiwale 35 2799 51.83 2 58.00 2. Kusal Perera 28 2308 53.67 3. Wasn't bothered when racists like Prez (ninjai) told me I had too many Asians, but when Himannv tells you that you have too many, it's probably time to stop picking Asians.
When did I even tell you that, it was Gazza Oh you mean the part where I said your stats look better than they are.
Unlike some others I don't think your team is all that bad though. I mean, you have Kaushal Silva so you can't really go wrong with a pick like that.
Will be interesting to see how the high averaging Asians go, including the ones in my team. Could go either way, I mean 9 picks out of 12 being Asian could be a huge risk
