    Nah, not yet anyway.

  2. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Who's ahead then? I can't see any in the world atm I'd rate higher than him

  3. Rego RS Hutchinson

Sexton, Cruden, Barrett, probably even Carter tbh. No particular order.

  4. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Agree with Sexton thats all. Cant really count Carter because he hasnt played enough meaningful test rugby recently

  5. Notsure SM Green

Barrett has only started five tests at 10 and has been poor in basically all of them. He is just an impact player and a very good Super Rugby player for now.

  6. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

From what I've seen of him Barrett is horribly overrated at Test level imo

  7. Jabba HJ Bots

    Still better than Cruden

  8. Rego RS Hutchinson

This year will be when he either solifies his skills or not at test level. That being said he has had some awesome off the bench performances and if he plays like he's been playing in Super Rugby we're in for a treat. His ability to be able to slot back to fullback is handy too.

So the Northern Hemisphere kicks back into gear tonight as all the leagues start again, I'm working doing the live stats for Scarlets vs Leinster. Any game that people are looking forward to?

If I was Steve Hansen I'd have Lima as the main 10.

He's young and given the chance can be great.

His weak defence is a big concern and when he has a bad game he has a fucking bad game. Can absolutely throw 20 points away. So still a bit raw but will be 3rd choice come next year. Cruden/ Barrett/ Him.

We still have to wait and see if Lima can manage to put several good seasons of super rugby under his belt to prove he is class.

Probably a bit soon to be talking about the All Black selections of next year but I AWTA and sadly it seems Barrett may be stuck as a sub his whole career.

  15. Starris ER Starris

Perhaps but we want him to get experience at the top level.

As of right now he is behind Cruden and Barrett so doesn't deserve to be starting for the All Blacks.

If he puts together another massive Super rugby season in 2016 compared to those two this may change. Even though I don't really like Cruden people forget how amazing he is at Super rugby. As for Barrett I see it has if you can kick your goals then you will be our starting ten.

Would like to see Barrett kick well the All Blacks go to what they did against Wales in 2014 next year. Where Barrett starts and then goes back to fullback with either Cruden/Lima coming on for the last 20 minutes.

This is a pretty decent try:

Barrett is surely the number 1 to replace Carter.

  19. Squeaks ZW Poole

I would like to think so but unless he can kick at least 75% he might stay on the bench.

  20. Rego RS Hutchinson

Yeah, really depends how Cruden comes back. No doubt it'll take a bit of game time to come right but he does have the whole of Super Rugby to do that. Personally I think Barrett is the better player as a whole but his poor goal kicking and poor showing stating at 10 for the ABs means that doesn't really account for much.

    Could forever be a benchy.
