No chance Slater gets suspended for that
Just more proof that the shoulder charge ban is absolutely ridiculous.
Slater charged for a tackle that doesn’t even warrant a penalty. Awesome stuff NRL. Can all thank Dave Smith, Todd Greenberg and Tony Archer for this.
Maybe it'll take Slater getting suspended for his last game to make someone with a platform talk about how ridiculous the shoulder charge ban is. There'd probably be nothing worse for our cause than Slater not getting charged so everyone in the media could go on pretending there's not a problem.
Actually the worst would be him getting suspended and the sycophants and euphemisers to keep on going the way they always do.
Cunt on radio wanted a penalty try, a sin binning and a suspension for that Slater tackle. And he's not even a Sharks fan.
Am I in the fucking twilight zone here?
Touch football.......only a matter of time...
I guess I'm more of an accelerationist on this issue these days. We're not going to get any progress on this rule unless it makes people who matter pissed off. If they can find a way for it to not cost Slater a grand final while simultaneously still suspending no-names mid-season to keep the Helen Lovejoys happy, they're never going to change the rule. We need these people to have their darling miss his fairytale to make any progress IMO.
lol go back to Cricketweb, you clunge.
What's ridiculous is what Slater did is the safest thing for him aside from not tackling him.
Fuck I hope Souffs win tonight. CH9 is really hoping for Storm/Roosters, let's ruin it for them at least a bit.
It feels like Sam Burgess drops the ball more than any other player in the game. I'm pretty sure he's good for at least 2 a game, and that's on a good day.
Souths can’t win if they don’t improve their ball control. Easts will grind them down. Walker, Sutton and Inglis on the left edge is the key. Quick scoot from Cook then shift left. Gagai and Reynolds are fucking hopeless.
Roosters look likely to score every time they go to the left, how they're not ahead I don't know.
If Mitchell was playing he’d have a hat-trick by now the way Gagai is defending.
It’s amazing how little Reynolds and Walker get involved when their middle is getting chewed up.
Souths attack looks useless, almost as bad as Kliens ability to see a player get the ball from an offside position right infront of his face...
If Roosters injuries are serious, looks like we are in for another Storm """""fairy tale""""".
Is it even worth watching next week?
Never seen a prelim with such pus attack from both sides.
