Sutton just said it's on the onus of the defender not to make any contact with the head with any body part....

    All head clashes now penalties?

    Tupou is absolute pus.

    GET TUPOU OFF

  5. Alec AD Funkotron

Lol, defending Napa's cunt tackle. He has done this multiple times in the past, he's just braindead. If he doesn't miss most of the rest of the season...well, he won't given it's the Roosters.

Looking forward too the refs bringing the Roosters back into this in the 2nd half.

  6. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Was definitely intentional from Napa. He does it way too often He leads with head/shoulder and then swings his arms after contact

  7. Magic AJ Parker

Please make the argument that Napa head buts players. It's the Nate Myles thing all over again.

That first half was painful, Tupou is doing my head in I need a laugh.

Sutton has been brilliant for you guys so far.

  8. Alec AD Funkotron

He's done it too many times not to be intentional. You could see it on his face too, he knows. Or he knows Uncle Nick will bail him out, either one.

  9. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

You don't think he leads with the head?

How do you NOT lead with the head? Ridiculous argument. The head is always out in front except for a shoulder charge. He is not intentionally head butting. He is just leaning in more. It’s an accident that happens when you attempt to put a big shot on.

As if they haven’t banned enough tackling styles.

Myles’s were arguable because sometimes he tucked his head and his eyes were facing the ground. Napa isn’t doing anything like that. His eyes are up.

  12. Toolman TR Man

it's not intentional but he plants his feet then drives forward to put on a big hit.. he goes for the big shot too often and it almost never does anything. telling him to tackle normally though would just show how mostly useless he is, his whole reputation is based on putting big hits.. roosters are missing JWH big time

Easts just need to play straight and at Milford. Easy territory all day.

  14. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Ugh that Kimmorley interview was cringey af.

  15. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

By having your head to the side and making sure shoulder is first contact. His technique is horrible and can't keep doing what he is doing without punishment.

Wow. That was the game right there on Kahu’s fingertips. 7 tackle sets will change the momentum.

  17. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

That doesn’t even make sense. The head is always in front you spaz.

  18. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

How is that not a shepherd?

  19. Alec AD Funkotron

Wait, how is this not a try? Even if he is binned, we scored. Don't let it go back like against the Cowboys.

  20. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

So by some miracle shoulder and chest makes contact first in most other tackles. OK cool.
