    I'm not sure how they overruled the 3rd Sims try. I mean, sure it was close, likely no try, but there was no absolute proof that elbow touched the ground. Having Patten ref Bulldogs games has always seemed suss to me.

    Any talk of expansion at the moment is ridiculous, I thought Joey's call to reduce the number of teams made a whole lot more sense.

    Yeh we'll take one for the comp and merge with Newtown, take full control of the east and inner west.

    The Wests Tigers, Cantterbury/Bankstown Bulldogs & Olympic Park Rabbits can fight it out for Western Sydney.

    I'm happy with there being 16 teams. I'd just prefer to see a top 6 instead of a top 8.

    No team is the inner west team, the inner west is just a cluster fuck of Bulldogs, Roosters, Tigers & Wabbits supporters. There probably is no more confused territory in the game.

    Wests Tigers still have a strong foothold around Balmain/Five Dock/concord area but that's only a very small part of the inner west.

    Yeh I'm not necessarily for reducing the number of teams, I just think it's a far more worthwhile discussion than expansion at the moment.

    Lachlan Lewis was really impressive yesterday. Seemed to have so much time sometimes...though that could have been the Broncs passive defence/pressure. I'm enjoying watching Rhyse Martin too, wonder if he's a chance of Origin. Seems like an excellent goal kicker too.

    Elbow definitely touched the ground, was the correct call. I don't like the system, if you need to look at something 20 times, I don't see how it's enough to over-rule the on field decision.
