    Inglis came last.

I've heard about the guy who came 2nd who plays club rugby after one of the GayFL players pulled out due to a sponsorship conflict.

    LOL top class coverage.

Lol what is he sponsored by powerade or something?

    Has Bolt raced yet?

  8. Flack SA Flack

Morris got nothing. Race doesn't prove a lot though, sprinting != running in a game of RL/RU/AFL/soccer etc.

  9. GYR DW Lewis

Not to mention that some players couldn't even make the race.

Yeah, was originally the plan until he got injured. He should of raced anyway, he could have run high 10's in no effort.

Indeed. They should have an all NRL one post season at some point, on an NRL field... Would be much more interesting.

From a standing start with a ball IMO.

Never understood why anyone, especially Hayne, thought Inglis was quick. Inglis has football pace, not sprinting pace.

  14. Magic AJ Parker

Inglis has good acceleration which is more important in league than speed over long distances. He starts just as good as anyone there.. then those mega macs start to kick in.

  15. Julian BJ Taylor

Should have to pick up a ball off the ground on the 10 metre line IMO.

what time did they end up running it in, i dont think i caught it

Exactly, when Inglis beats players with speed it is with the change of pace. He'll be coasting and the defence think they have him covered but he has another gear.

Also might be different with a ball and with someone chasing them. Sprinting is very mental. Hayne is a bit of an egotist, so he was able to switch on, but Inglis chased him down easy in a game this year and Hayne submitted.

Good run by Turner though, I didn't know he was that quick.

For sure, when you think you're faster than someone out on a footy field, you back yourself and fly, when you think someone's got your number you never really open up. I'm keen to get into sprinting, don't think it's offered anywhere in my area though.

Isaac Gordon would have raped it.
