Highlights why we need a proven goalscorer... say what you want about the red card, don't think it was one myself but doesn't excuse us missing chance after chance. Our decision making in the final third was poor yet again.

I consider Fulham a friend of late, the fact they had 912 shots against Spurs the other day and only scored once, and allowed us to score 3 from 3 is very friendly.

I agree the red card was harsh, been a couple bad ones this round.

If only you had a number 9 who was brought to the club for £35m...

Clear red card. Was reckless, 2 feet off the ground and follows through on Dembele. Absolutely rubbish tackle.

We all know it was a shocking panic signing

Suarez isn't a natural goalscorer either...Saw this on football accumulators on facebook

‎7.7% - Of all players to have scored three or more PL goals this season, Luis Suárez has the lowest shot conversion rate (7.7%).

Floor is yours. Why wasn't it a red card?

  10. BigGuns DA Astele

Oh my god, could this be the only time the wrong decision has ever been made :shocking:

  11. Eds E Ames

The small matter of actually getting the ball.

  12. mouse MJ Edwards

Can't blame the linesman for that to be honest, it's such a tight call. Hangeland stepped up and it's understandable why the linesman put his flag up

  13. Verigoat S Verigotta

Oh that thing that means absolutely fuck all when the ref deals with an overly reckless/dangerous challenge

  14. BigGuns DA Astele

Agree, follow through was lame and almost missed the Fulham lad. who made a meal of it. Suarez would be proud.

  15. Furball G Furball

Not relevant given the recklessness of the tackle.

  16. Verigoat S Verigotta

    Rodwell to C

  17. Eds E Ames

It was a very well controlled tackle. He went for the ball and got it.

  18. Furball G Furball

He had 2 feet off the ground when he hit Dembele. Either he isn't in control of his tackle or he's deliberately raised his feet to hit Dembele in the follow through.

  19. Eds E Ames

Or it's what he needed to do to win the ball (which he did so expertly) and they're on the way down...

Either way, a 2 footed tackle is against the rules.
