Thinking about getting an new PC too. Something ridiculously power for my movie editing and 3d modeling and game needs.
You'd wanna look into a PCI-Express SSD instead of a SATA 3 one as well. 16GB is future proofing, but if you're doing video editing as well, probably isn't the max you need. Also look into Quad Channel RAM.
The 16gb ram is really so it renders super fast. I won't be getting this until later this year, so its all research now.
