    The Confederations Cup host is the same host as the "next" World Cup, because the Confederations Cup is only held every 4 years as well, as a kind of curtain raiser to the actual World Cup itself.

    Congratulations to NZ for getting their first ever point ... ****ing up Iraq in the process which I'm pretty devo about as I was going for 'em since the beginning of the tournament. :p

    Last night's results:
    Spain 2-0 South Africa
    New Zealand 0-0 Iraq

    Final Group A Standings:
    1. Spain - 9
    2. South Africa - 4
    3. Iraq - 2
    4. New Zealand - 1

    Spain and South Africa have qualified for the semi-finals and will play the 2nd and 1st placed teams from Group B, respectively.
