    Apparantly Euefa have banned the ref from talking on the issue to the press lol. He was smuggled out of the country this morning by police after recieving death threats :p

    This just shows what a disgrace football is. The players have to much power, the managers can't stop them doing things like this as they'll just walk out to a different club.

    The levels of respect are diabolical. If that'd of happened on a Rugby pitch the captain of the team would have gone mental on his player. Terry praises him.

    I ****ing hate football because of things like this. Glad Chelsea lost, wankers.

    Hope for Fletch to play. They should really over turn it as it is benefit to the game. But then they may overturn Abidal's red card as that was questionable.

    This is the reason that football is the most ****ing dreadful sport on the planet. Good that Chelsea lost, but all they'll do is complain complain complain now. This is why I don't watch or follow football (except for when Man U get to the Champ League Final then I will support, but only then, no glory supporter tags but it's not worth watching otherwise)

    Chel$ki's attitude was pretty expected as teh ref was completely dire. I would of done the same and im pretty sure everyone saying that chelsea were wrong need to think what they would of done.

    Acknowledging a quality post.

    Tbh, if UEFA hand down Chesea, Ballack and Drogba big fines, I think their connections with England, Germany, Russia and even Holland to an extent will deteriorate.

    Imo, they might want to start their own comp.

    I was having this conversation with my dad yesterday about this.

    It's highly unlikely, but it could happen if Abramovich decides to blow this right up, since Ballack has a lot of German pull, Chelsea would have the English FA's side I guess along with players like Terry etc, Holland would have Hiddink.

    Rate it a 1% chance of happening.

    The fact of the matter is that Chelsea were disgusting in the way they ebhaved to the ref... emotion or no emotion it was wrong.

    They can't complain... and the prostgicay of the Champions league would probably prevent that from happening.

    That ref had no clue.

    They were deadset cheated out of a fair shot at the title.

    They out played Barca immensly, dominated shots, possesion upon other stats. They were great, it's just Valdez had a top game and they had two obvious penalties turned down. If Pique has his handball seen, he's sent off and it's a penalty which they would convert. 9 man Barcelona does not score 2 goals in 10 minutes.

    Chelsea got robbed, through and through.

    Whilst I don't commend their actions, you have to take into acount how bad the refeering is. The ref was right behind Ballack when he hit his volley, and did not call it.

    UEFA seriously needs to think about how poorly that was refereed, if they had any fairness and common sense, they would not hand out a fine and ban that ref from ever refeering again.

    Yes i agree completely the standard of reffign was attrocious... across both legs.

    But the reaction wasn't called for.

    I wouldn't go as far as say they were robbed of a title... stil had to beat United.
