English newspaper "The Observer" suggests that Didier Drogba may be banned for up to 6 months, according to one UEFA official.

    More bad news for Chelsea.

Just to add fuel to the conspiracy fire...

Well I can see a day when, all 4 semi finalists would be english clubs, like Arsenal, Chelsea, Man U and Livers. Platini would call off UCL that year and resign. Lol.

They reckon Ovrebo will be banned for life from refereeing Champions League matches.

Which is pretty funny because according to Wikipedia, he'll be a referee at the 2010 World Cup. I hope he's banned from that too tbh.

Can't wait to see Man U get screwed over.

ManU's next game to be officiated by Overbo, ManU loses, lol. Wait EPL isnt run by Platini so its safe.

its a disgrace that after the preformance he gave he can still be reffing at anything higher then under 13's i suppose the fact that he has escaped with so little sanction really puts a bit of added fuel for the conspiracy fire (although i am still doubtful, or maybe im just hopeful, that it is a conspiracy)

If UEFA takes any action in the aftermath of the match, it'll be more likely to punish Didier Drogba or Chelsea, than to sanction the referee TBH.
