    Man U's D > Barca's D.

    Man U have the best center defence in the world.

    If anything, Rooney and Ronaldo will carve Barca. Barca should'nt have gone through at all. Should've lost 3-0 to Chelsea.

    Same central defensive pairing that contains Nemanja Vidic? The very same Vidic who got sent off not once but twice against Liverpool this season. I'll be honest Ferdinand is quality but Vidic is nowhere near the best in the world and chokes in pressure games. Consider that and a strike force with Henry, Eto'o and Messi and we have a Barca win. Won't be by much though.

    The Man U Central D's will be to slow against guys like Messi,Henry and eto'o who all have a ton of pace. If Ferd and Vidic get turned around Van der Sar will have to have a good game if they are to win.

    Thats not how Barcelona play though. They go wide with the wing back crossing, or for Messi and Henry to hit it inside or drag a ball across.

    And with neither Barca's win backs playing in the final thats a significant part of their attack gone.

    If Terry and Alex can handle them I'm confident that Ferdinand and Vidic will. My only concern is Messi, but with Rooney tracking back he should be covered.

    I heard somewhere that Fergie wanted to keep the same side.

    I imagine Scholes will come in for Fletcher but apart from that I can't see any differenc to the team versus Arsenal.

    TBH Man UTD have the better midfield and defence and that is where the game will be won. The UTD will overcome the Barca defence and the Midfield likewise and as the UTD strikers are good enough to score if the balls are coming through the defence or from the wing it doesn't matter that the Barca strikers (IMO) are better than UTD with the exception of Rooney. Will be tight so 1-0 win to UTD in extra time with a disallowed Barca goal in the last minute of normal time.

    Guys like Berbatov, Rafael and Nani have proven that IMO they aren't top 4 quality players. They have a lot of depth United, but I don't think that it's quality depth whereas back then guys like Solksjaer and Sheringham could come off the bench and create a bit of magic.
