Really enjoyed this article by Kent. Especially the complete dissection of the players Stuart tapped on the shoulder at Parra.

 

Hopefully one or both of Sezer and Austin are back for round 5. Should be 4 and 4 by then playing Newcastle and GC the next 2 weeks.

 

Will be interesting to see if Clydsdale's fit and if he replaces Croker.

 

The treatment of Cornish was because he was fucking shit.

 

Persevering with Lachlan Croker this week. Probably a smart call. If we get the jump on Newcastle he might get a chance to have a real crack. Stuart still has the fall back option of hooking him for Baptiste if the game is tight.

 

I'm pretty sure Hodgson will play in the halves with Clydsdale sharing the hooking duties with Baptiste.

 

Being shown up on Saturday probably isn't a bad thing. Hopefully jag a win against the Titans and Austin and Sezer will slot straight bacvk in.

 

Leilua not guilty. Back next week, with at least one of the halves too.

 

Considering you can pretty much wipe rounds 2-4 as we didn't have both halves; we're the fucking goods.

Besides Brisbane and North Queensland I wouldn't take a top 25 squad over what Canberra have. And that's with 2015 in mind specifically.

There are some glaring issues with how the team plays at times, granted, but there is so much more potential in this group of players than others that the media constantly flog off over. At full strength I don't see a weakness besides FPN.

 

Stuart's use of his forwards last year might really help him in this upcoming stretch. Lima's out for a month plus and Soliola's just broken his arm so he'll be gone for 5-6 as well. I don't particularly like them that much as players but Jarrad Kennedy and Luke Bateman played plenty last year; one will come in and play as the final forward which shouldn't be beyond them. I think Kennedy played every game last year actually. There's Mitch Barnett who debuted last year as well.
