    Of course. I'm just saying it's a shame that significantly better teams are missing out at the expense of rubbish teams and that there definitely should be an alteration of spots by confederation, especially in the light of this.

    Ricki is goneskies after Wellington. Thoughts on a coach? I really think NZ need a young Spanish coach who can teach them to play a possession based game. They'll continue to battle outside Oceania if they try to play hoof-ball Herbert style.

    With everyone off world cupping it, the next two years will be a rather quiet affair in New Zealand soccer. Perfect timing for as you suggest a new coach to come along and sort shit out.

    Hate to be a sore loser but kinda wish Oceania had at least one automatic berthing place in the World Cup like every other continent does. It is a World Cup after all. At least that way we'd be able to improve the quality of soccer in Oceania by making regular appearances at the big tournament and then every now and again Solomon Islands or Tahiti one ups us.

    1.5 - Concacaf
    6.5 - South America
    2.5 - Asia
    4.5 Africa
    15 - Europe

    From what limited knowledge I have of international soccer this does seem fair. How far off is this from Fifia's current implemented system for qualification. Is it close enough or is a good shaking up that'll never happen in order?
