Gold Coast is AFL heartland now.
Hoeter for a senior debutant has been really good over the past 2 weeks. Looks like he might have some real potential.
He played for the Tigers when he was a junior, only a couple of games though.
What does everyone make of this Wests coaching transition set up? Should Sheens just take over now?
Mullethausen gone. Just give Penrith the trophy now tbh.
I really don't see what Kimmorley offers as interim coach now they've decided their coaching direction. I imagine Sheens is pulling the strings with player selection, so Kimmorley it appears is just a scapegoat for the rest of their shit season which is already a write-off. Having said that, being able to avoid the inevitable paste eating fans calling for Sheens to be gone by the end of the season if he does take over now has at least that amount of merit to it.
Yeh the whole thing just feels like one big PR exercise from the reuniting of Sheens and Marshall.
I haven't seen anything in Marshall since he started doing punditry that even slightly suggests he's head coach material.
First time since 2015 since Melbourne have lost 3 games in a row.
True. Boyd was alright for them I thought. Sexton has some ability, cunt can be so lazy though. He needs to go elsewhere or coaching staff need a cleanout. The Titans gameplan always falls apart though, with all the reliance they put on their middle forwards to be pivots and their halves as link men. It looks so bad when it doesn't work out, which is more often than not.
I'd say Sheens will do the heavy lifting and the Old boys will be there to try and get the lads up.
About to make it 4 in a row.
Segeyaro any chance of getting a first grade game with Manly?
Love to see it.
They're looking really bad. It's the first time playing without Cam is really showing.
They lost 4 straight in 2012 and won the comp, but I don't see where the improvement comes from. Hughes is out of form and is really looking like a makeshift half, Grant snd Munster are trying hard, but it's not coming together, Smith is a shadow of his former self, and Paps won't be back for at least a year, his kneecap is literally shattered.
It's not really mattered in the past, but is actually a pretty average team on paper, though it's normally about now that the time that one of their squad players emerges as the next pap, munster or Grant.
That was pretty embarrassing a performance by NQ. Fucking horrible.
Tigers got robbed hard there. That's not a W I am happy with.
“The captain’s challenge was permissible in these circumstances ... Although the referee had blown his whistle to stop the game after the last tackle was completed as time had expired, he had not yet called full-time,” the NRL spokesperson said.
They’re taking the piss now surely. What would he possibly be blowing his whistle for if it wasn’t full time.
I thought challenges couldn't be made for non-calls in open play without stoppage.
