How is Ashley Klein one of the top 2 referees in the game? Seriously.

One of my real pet peeves this year is attackers not involved in the play grabbing defenders to stop them either driving an attacking player backwards or to hold the defender back from getting back onside. Since when did this become legal, heard the referee warn two players on different occasions now but never seen a penalty given for it. Up there with grab your neck get a penalty for mine.

Also what's with all the talk about Kikau being offered a million dollars.

Surely it's a gee up from his management team, no club in their right mind would be offering him anything near that.

 

And we've just seen the contender of the year from Ferguson. Klein bought it hook line and sinker, seriously that wasn't even close to a crusher.

Junior Paulo was absolutely massive, pretty much owned that Penrith middle by himself.

Klein went missing in the last 20 and just stopped making calls, probably more to the detriment of the Eels. I thought Moses was taken out on the Ferguson line break and then I thought Naden blatantly knocked on but Klein just didn't call anything and let play continue. Then in the corner with minutes to go you either have to rule that Gutherson knocks on or it was a strip, somehow he explicably again just called play on. Watching
