Croker but no Brett Morris. Jesus Christ.

Good point on goal kicking, I think the Blues need to have either Croker or Hodkinson in the side for the sake of a kicker.

In the end I'd go Hodkinson because it ensures at least one of your halves has a cool head and isn't a blatent defensive liability. This, and the fact that I think Croker's line defence is a bit suspect and Chambers would capitalize.

Maloney will probably be in the side; I'm more than happy to not sacrifice the rest of the side for kicking while he's playing.

I've got Dugan @ centre blacklisted, unless he's playing there for Dragons and shows he can defend. I saw enough of his woeful positioning in game 3 to put me off for life.

I'd be flicking Tamou too, he's a loafer.

Yeah I agree with both these calls but I think we'll see them playing anyway.

I'd really like to see Dugan at centre all year for St George. I'm sure Mary would as well but they just haven't been able to find a fullback good enough to really justify it. Literally the closest they've got in Dugan's time at the club has been an in-form Quinlan, and I like Quinlan but seriously ehk.

Still think it's previous to drop Tamou. Regardless of half of his Origin career being mediocre he's still one of the top 4 props in NSW imo.

I should have mentioned, I was imagining a side without Maloney.

I think I'd rather have Maloney than Hodkinson, Croker or Reynolds at this stage if I have to pick a specialist goal kicker.

Ahhh I didn't see that was a prediction rather than the team you'd select.

What did everyone make of Moylan at 6?

It showed that he was a fullback IMO. A lot of the time there was really something on if he straightened the play and cut someone underneath or stepped back inside himself but he just kept playing right and Queensland kept sliding.

A bit like the Dugan centre thing, I think he'd be great if he played there every week but for as long as he's playing fullback at club level I think we have better options for five-eighth than him.

Moylan was underwhelming in all three matches. I don't care about the last of these as he should not have been picked there. At fullback I thought he'd show a little more.

I'm a bit bias with Moylan, but I thought the garbage service he got from Reynolds didn't help his cause, the cunt suffers from Sowarditis where he refuses to engage/hold up the line at all in a back line movement, whilst at the same time failing to provide crisp accurate distribution if they're just getting out there asap. Cuts down everyone outside hims time quite a bit.

Amazing how quickly the calls for Daleys head dissapeared after a win in a dead rubber.

I must be one of the few who thought Maloney had a good series for us too? I mean yeh he's limited in his play but at least he delivered at what hes good at. More than any other NSW half in the last decade can say.

Reynolds failed miserably... shock didnt see that coming after watching years of his extrodinary kicking game going to average everytime he came up a strong side.

So dissapointed Moylan struggled to get into the game too, definitely gives Tedesco the jump on him for next year.

Finally establishing a really strong second row group was the real positive of this series for us. Cordner, Frizzlel and Graham will be around for plenty of years to come with Jackson proving he wouldnt be the worst selection if needed.

What exactly did Maloney deliver in?

  16. Julian BJ Taylor

He created 1 line break in 3 games and scored off an intercept. He was shit.

    You're on crack.

Yes, yes. Oates is awesome, has to be there blah blah blah. Make an argument.

Maloney has been the best performing NSW half in many years... which says more about all the other halves. Also thought Moylan was pretty mediocre.

I don't think he was overly brilliant either but he also made 1 clean line break and two half breaks.
