Laffing to suggest Klemmer to afaic. Looks like Tarzan; plays like Jane

  2. Magic AJ Parker

His performances in the 4nations will hold him in good stead.

I definitely think he's the real deal but I'd like to see him get some more games under his belt, along with some longer minutes and fill out his frame a bit more. A year or two off Origin for mine but wouldn't be disappointed if he got a spot on the bench, we could do a lot worse and have for many years previous.

Vaughan is still much better than Klemmer.

When its a choice between Pearce or Hodgkinson what can you do?

As Hunter said, Pearce > Hodkinson.

  5. Tartmaster AJ James

    At club level, yes.

At origin level Pearce has been a massive flop, he's been shithouse for years.

  6. Mr Chook MR Chook

No arguments from me there but Hodgko isn't the answer either IMO, Pearce has shown career best form early this season which could be a promising sign.

Either way, neither is going to set the world on fire at Origin this year so it's really a no win situation.

  7. Hunter AD Hunt

THERE IS NO FUCKING G IN HIS NAME.

  8. Tartmaster AJ James

I would take Mullen or Reynolds over Hokko, but that's not gonna happen.

Pearce has proven himself to be a complete failure in origin, again and again and again.
Hokko at least has held his own enough to keep his spot.

THERE IS A FUCKING D IN HIS NAME.

A lot of water will have to go under the bridge before Pearce plays origin again and I mean a lot.

Trent Hodgson deserves the halfback spot.

  11. Sultan Pepper HG Emm

    Well, he was last series.

  12. GYR DW Lewis

I don't think you understand how much Daley loves Pearce

  13. Lukic L Popovic

Yeh I dont think we can drop Trent Schifcofske after the way he played last year.

  14. Mr Chook MR Chook

He strolled though a gap to score that I could've strolled through, and I'm 43. His half back play over the whole series wasn't an improvement from previous years.

  15. Julian BJ Taylor

    Agreed partly.

Though I'm not sure on Daley's views of the differences between 6 and 7 because realistically Josh Reynolds should be fucking no chance. I also think Mullen is next to no chance, so Pearce is probably favourite to partner Hodginkinson I would have thought.

  16. Julian BJ Taylor

Well it was because NSW won.

I normally don't subscribe to picking individual performances out of team results but this was a situation where a bloke who is incumbent should keep his spot.

  17. Mr Chook MR Chook

I have no issue if Hodgkinson retains his spot.

  18. GYR DW Lewis

  19. Julian BJ Taylor

What's so funny? I normally detest doing that.

  20. Magic AJ Parker

Definitely but for mine he's too similar in nature to Merrin and Woods. You could make an argument to drop Merrin given his underwhelming SOO career so far but I'm willing to give him 1 more series.

If I was Daley I'd genuinely be looking at some real far left field options for that final prop spot, someone who can come on and provide some impact different to what Gallen, Woods and Merrin already do. Fifita seems the obvious option but he's far too loose IMO and Tamou's gone to shit.
