2013 State of Origin

The one criticism I have of Farah through out the series is how many times he overplayed his hand, the amount of times Carney and especially Pearce had to jump into dummy half was ridiculous.

I think Wallce is a better kicker but in terms of ball playing Pearce is far better, nearly all of Wallace's try assists have been from kicks this year and the total opposite from Pearce. That's a pretty good indicator.

I'm starting to think Wallace would be better suited to Stuart's style of game plan, our halves rarely ever attacked the fringes, the only time I can think of was late in the first half when Pearce created an overlap, although I haven't watched a replay yet but that's the only time I can remember.

I'm not convinced that picking another creative player is going to do any good, Stuart just doesn't seem to provide much of an attacking structure for a bloke like Carney to work off anyway. The only genuine hole runner we had was Ben Creagh and even then I don't rate him that highly but he was forced to play in the front row. Picking someone like Wallace who has a good kicking game and is solid in defence might just be the go so long as Stuart is coach.

 

Would be the only benefit for NSW if Stuart takes the job at Canberra.

 

Is that really what happened? I can't remember. So QLD had 3 game 3's in QLD/Melb?
