Last 15 minutes just felt like fucking De Ja Vu so bad, hate tense finishes. Ball control was immense, although still think there's enough improvement in us to win Game 3. Our right fringe in defence was ten fold better, that's already a MASSIVE step. Hard to make changes to a winning team but really got to ask questions about Glen Stewart's role in the team. Wasn't bad but Beau Scott would just offer more imo, runs a good hard line and a better defender. Just don't think there's enough room in origin for an extra ball player on the fringes to ever dominate like Stewart is being expected to.

Am I the only QLD'er who thought the game was reffed pretty decently? I was working at the time and kept glancing up at the TV between pouring drinks but I thought for the most part they did well. Had to put up with about 25-30 drunken, biased idiots screaming at the TV every 2 seconds about how we were robbed. Don't get me wrong, I love giving you NSW types some crap when we win but it was doing my head in. Half of them were even making up rules as they went about why we should have won and how NSW supposedly cheated. The part were Stewart spilled the ball into his in goal and there was a myriad of missed opportunities for a QLD to score by simply falling on it. Everyone was complaining about how it should have been a scrum 10m to QLD because NSW knocked on in the field of play, despite the fact that they were pretty much in the middle of the in goal when it happened.
Seeing some of the highlights, wow that was a bad miss on Carney from Harrison that lead to his linebreak.
They're correct in saying that. At least you guys won't get an article every day for the next two weeks from Stuart and all the other kents whinging about it.
You seriously think that Cronk shouldn't have been sent off? The only reason Slater got there first was because he was hold back by Cronk, what a ridiculous article.
There were some poor calls both ways. I think that Carney's should've definitely been a penalty try but we scored right after so I won't complain.
Nah was getting at the 50/50 calls bit. I had no sound for the game and had no idea why it was a sin bin and not a penalty try.
There's no way they'd give a penalty try after Taylor's effort to ground the ball earlier IMO. He pretty much proved that there's no way to conclusively say someone would've gathered a bouncing ball and definitely scored.
If Slater's out (which I doubt) then it'll be Inglis to fullback and someone like Ash Graham (lol) into the threequarters.
