FFS. This is answered in the post prior to yours. The onus is on teams and owners to contract 30 players. If it doesn't happen, the season doesn't start. I can't see that each team will get 30 players in the short term.
Heath - not sure how you want to manage communications between Cnuts players not registered on here and anyone who wants to offer contracts. I suspect that those of us on here would be willing to pass messages on. Note for all - there's a few internal Cnuts games coming up, starting today, that I guess will be posted in the miscellaneous matches thread.
How many Celtic Provinces guys would be Ireland eligible? Tart, Paddy, Uppercut, Ethan... Is that right? Anyone else?

So, last season we had: Provincial: England, New Zealand, Australia, BaaBaas Sub-Provincial: NSW, VIC, QLD, Asia I guess not much has changed. I can add Ireland to the Sub-Provincial, but then there's a bye. RSA are still a way off a team. Could potentially go the whole hog and look to have North England/South England teams, North Island/South Island teams and Ireland. No justification for a Scottish, Welsh, Italian or French team at the moment and no reason to combine them into a horrible conglomerate.
Yes, I'm happy with the top tier Aus/England/NZ/BaaBaas group. But that second tier is a bit shit. The alternative is to get rid of the 2nd tier altogether. No NSW/QLD/VIC games, no Asia games. Perhaps that would be more sensible? Could be replaced by a different tournament - An Australian championship (NSW/QLD/VIC), A British Isles Championship (N/S England, Ireland) and a New Zealand Championship (North Island vs. South). But that'd still be a bit contrived.
Do we need the level below Rep cricket at all? I mean I don't know how much time you expect to get the season done in but from my point of view the faster and more consistently it comes out the better the interest will be. That's better achieved by just doing away with those tournaments. Maybe give each nation a small number of warm up games before the provincials where they can play amongst themselves in 2 or 3 games that get blitzed quickly if you want it to aid in selections
I would just stick with the top level of Provincial in all honesty. At least rep selection in this sim means something rather than the farce that Cricsim rep cricket is turning into. Btw, I'd be up for running a Fantasy Rugby competition once Season 6 gets underway. We get sujective player ratings so it's ideal, if Heef or anyone else fancies coming up with some valuations for players (thinking the best player in the sim should be priced at the $1m mark?)
I've thought about the Fantasy Rugby sort of thing before. As you say, the player ratings (hopefully more objective than subjective) would make it relatively easy.
