    But a sledge is used to get under an opponents skin, it worked obv. But it was wayyy too personal and over the top.

    Yeah, Slater did nothing wrong except apologise imo.

    We talk about how soft the game has become with how high tackles are penalised etc but this is just weak as piss from Paterson.

    I fully understand the effects of depression. I like many others have had it effect people close to me but what Slater said is no worse than the thousands of other sledges that go in in all forms of sport each and every weekend.

    A massive media beat up. I'd rather read about the latest news on Lara Bingle.
