Just wanted to see how much Gallen's omission figures in the minds of members. Sorry for wasting bandwidth, EWS :p

    Depends who gets the call.

    The call of what?

  4. morgieb MC Burridge

I was expecting Queensland to win anyway.

    Vote, cunt.

  6. Cribbage RG Cribb

Yeah I was a little bit undecided before Hayne and Gallen withdrew but it's Queensland's series to lose now.

It's not even just because they're experienced, although that's a factor too. They're just clearly are two best and more influential players IMO.

Stop saying "just." It's at odds with the point you made. Cunt :p

Nah but yeah, they're two of NSW's best players. Their best forward. And arguably their best back. Equivalent of QLD losing Scott and Inglis I guess.

I was thinking this today, only possible challenger is Farah imo. They're massive losses. Having Bird under a cloud doesn't help either.

  10. Alec AD Funkotron

I dunno why, but I lolled.

The push for Plum has moved on too facebook. Every body get around it.

    :( Oh the humanity

    8.Tamou
    9.Farah
    10.Grant
    11.Lewis
    12.Hoff
    13.Bird

    14.Woods
    15.Merrin
    16.Watmough
    17.Reyno

If they can bring in another prop for Gallen than it should be Grant IMO.

Not really worried about our lack of size/props at all now with NSW missing their biggest metre-making middle-third forward. Woods's job is probably going to be even harder than what was expected of him in Game II. I have no doubt Tamou will hold his own after a disappointing Game I and the subsequent off-field indiscretions that saw him miss Game II. He has been like a freight train since coming back for the Cowboys. But Woods is another matter. If he Josh Perry's it up again, NSW are in deep shit because aside from Merrin no other Blues middle-third forward has really bent our line back consistently.

Thats fucking shit to claim that Woods could be a perryesque player. The cunt got stuck defending his ass off for the first 20 mins while we got absolutely no pill and had hardly any chance to make a dent with his carries all game. He'll do much better this time.

I wrote in defence of Woods after Game II but the fact is, whilst Gallen also had to tackle his arse off and only made 2 hit-ups in the first half, he at least made 9m a carry. Woods made 2 carries for 6m each. That's shit regardless of having to make 14 tackles in 20 minutes. I don't doubt that he'll probably do better in Game III but I won't be surprised if he fails to crack 70m either.

Queensland were going to win even if they were playing unfortunately :(

If Hayne were fullback and Gallen were there, I think NSW would be good favourites to win at home. Without them they lose creativity, which they simply cannot afford to, and they lose a lot of go-forward. They're mammoth losses IMO.

Queensland should definitely win. NSW aren't very good.

Fuck footy. I reckon given that NSW have lost 2 vital players of their 13, it should just be cut to an 11 v 11 cricket match, ashes fever etc etc
