Who will win the Decider?

  1. QLD

    50.0%
  2. NSW

    50.0%
  1. Frizzed WC Welker

My gun call before Origin 1 is a real good chance of happening.

  2. Hughesy JM Hughes

Replacing Kimmorley with Johns = win

    What was it?

If QLD are winning at half-time during game 1, NSW will go on to win the series.

Did you hear my call? Qld will lose 30-10 in game 3.

NSW probably still would've won with Kimmorley. NSW were utterly dominated in Game 1 and were still leading after 78 minutes.

NSW had dominance in every position on the field apart from maybe five-eighth.

LMAO. Most random call. Even if it happened any derivation would be coincidental and uncorrelated to any discernible pattern.

What ever are you on about?

Fuck you under-rate Hodges defence. He has been extremely good in defence this year especially.

Might we confine it to one thread save us both duplicating the same argument?

I honestly have no idea if Mal's going to bring Shillo back or not. I certainly would. 3rd best prop we have and probably edging 2nd even as it stands. I really don't know what to make of his comments about only making changes should injury befall the incumbent players. I mean I can't see him keeping his word on that if Hodges is fit and available. And should he happen cave on that one, he'll probably cave on Shillington too.

Truth be told, what I'd actually like to see is Shillo and Scott starting with Civoniceva off the bench. I think it'd work a treat. Replacing Scott and Shillo with Civo and Hannant would be so much better than having Scott and Civo come off for Hannant and Taylor or even Shillo himself.

Our side, assuming Mal comes to his senses, will probably look like this:

    1.Billy Slater
    2.Darius Boyd
    3.Greg Inglis
    4.Justin Hodges
    5.Jharal Yow Yeh
    6.Darren Lockyer (c)
    7.Johnathan Thurston
    8.Matt Scott
    9.Cameron Smith
    10.Petero Civoniceva
    11.Nate Myles
    12.Sam Thaiday
    13.Ashley Harrison

    14.Cooper Cronk
    15.Ben Hannant
    16.David Shillington
    17.Dave Taylor/Corey Parker

I don't think Hoppa in the centres and Gallen at prop should be considered out of position, even though they haven't played there a lot at NRL level. Hoppa was mainly a centre coming through the grades - it's Manly who have used him out of position - and prop/lock are virtually the same position in many team structures with just slightly different attacking and defensive workloads. That said, I wouldn't consider Idris out of position at left centre or Hayne out of position at fullback either.

Picking a "five-eighth" on the wing definitely went against his philosophy though. ;)

    So ironic.

If Hayne doesn't play centre he'll play wing anyway though. I think I'd prefer to see him play centre than wing.

Barrett was actually injured for Game II.

    How is it ironic?

If Hayne is picked at centre and Hodges plays....Hodges will win MoTM.

    NSW 30-10
