    Yeah Lycett would be a solid fit there but I don't think his situation would be any different to what it is at WCE, he'd be 3rd in line for sole ruck duties (behind Lobbe and Redden) and behind Schulz, Westhoff and probably Shaw to play as a forward, he'd only get games if they needed a 2nd ruck/felt it helped their structure like he does at WCE.

    We were linked to him awhile back too, I think there's a chance he'll come home but if he doesn't then Sinclair will go back to Victoria.

    The problem is that in playing a second ruck they lose someone from their current 22 to fill that role, likely a small forward like Gray/Wingard/Monfries who pushes up into the midfield and someone like Kane Mitchell goes out. And I personally reckon their forward line is far more potent with those three in there than the advantage they'd get from a second ruck.

    Hopefully his age/injuries means that other clubs won't pay him as much as they could.

    Would love him at the Crows tbh. Sure, we have Jacobs, but he's also serviceable down forward, which will mean he performs 2nd ruck/3rd KPF, allowing Jenkins to be permanent 2nd KPF and not a 2nd KPF/shitcunt ruck.

    Agreed. Don't like playing 2 ruckmen in a side full stop and Giles isn't good enough either ruck or forward to justify it. His tapwork is substandard and he doesn't offer huge amounts around the ground. Jenkins isn't a great second ruck at all but I'll deal with it as the alternatives are worse and it's only for 15% of the game

    Martin is 27 and is injury prone with chronic injuries
