    Yeah we're definitely a key forward short even with Vardy back. Walker and Brown just don't look like AFL KP forwards, despite their VFL form.

    But you're totally right about the dickhead factor, which is why I can't see us taking him. That and he's sure to be asking for a decent salary.

    Yeah I've seen him play 2s but I worry about him playing these 195+ key backs that teams are developing. I'd rather have him as that third tall, Vardy second tall and back up ruck.

    He's carrying too many kegs to be that third tall. Mobility isn't his strength, power and footy IQ are. He's the typical pack crashing full forward really, trying to turn him into that third tall can only end badly. Not sure how an extra few cms on key backs will hurt him when the way he plays is more about straight line running

    It'd either be an immediate contender if there were one with cap space, Geelong or stay at adelaide.

    I don't see what would be attractive about going to Richmond for either Fyfe or Cameron, both are going to get good coin and a fair chance of a flag at their current clubs

    Probably should, he's behind a fuckload of blokes and is a pretty fucking good player, kicks goals and lots of them. Would happily give an early third for him.

    I'd be pretty devs if Membrey left. With Goodes and Richards getting on I still think there's a place for him in the future, but it'll probably go to Nankervis/2nd ruck, and he'd probably want a starting 22 place now rather than wait a couple of years.

    Nankervis definitely ahead of him, same age and same output in the NEAFL but Nankervis has a lot more development in him and is also a pretty darn good ruck. Think Nankervis will be a 100 game player no doubt

    Melbourne will go after him IMO with their first rounder. All depends on whether Sydney want that though and whether they're willing to palm off a F/S. Mitchell being in the team directly takes away from Kennedy's production as they're both similar players in wanting to be the #1 ballwinner and essentially get in each others way in the same midfield. The clash between them and the lack of cohesion when they're together is blindingly obvious and I think that's why Mitchell's not playing - if he were it'd be as a forward/midfielder when Kennedy's resting and they don't think he's good enough fwd to justify it.

    I think Mitchell probably should be playing - but I get why not. And Kennedy isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

    F/S still means that I hope we keep him. But I suspect that quite a few clubs would be keen, and unlike a lot of our fringe players we SHOULD be able to get a good draft pick out of it.....and hopefully pick up someone like Marchbank or (unlikely) Durdin/Goddard.
