Ended up going to NXT in Newcastle last night because mates have Coldplay on Tuesday. Very enjoyable show I must say. The matches were really good and the crowd was on point. I could sing bobby roodes theme song all day long.
Fuck tonight was pretty good. Main event was ruined though as it was changed to a 6 mam tag from a fatal four way for the title. Pretty clear they were shielding Joe so he must have been banged up from earlier on the tour.
There's a lot to catch up on here; 1) Roman Reigns hate is amazing 2) Braun Strowman is awesome 3) This is definitely Chris Jericho's best run since his feud with Shawn Michaels. He makes me laugh every time 4) I can't remember who it was but whoever questioned me about Kurt Angle, suck a dick I told you so. 5) Bray Wyatt is boring and one dimensional 6) The Hardys coming back was a great moment, but we need Broken Matt otherwise shit will get boring 7) How good was the Miz and Maryse during their feud with Cena. Those Total Diva ripoffs were fucking hilarious 8) Wrestlemania overall was pretty meh
What did you think of the way Taker's match went down? I thought it was meh. Could have given someone like Strowman that win to build him up as the next monster.
Yeah it was super meh. Firstly it was a match no one wanted to see. Taker is not healthy enough to carry someone through a match, he needs someone to carry him and Reigns is not that guy. Regardless, Reigns didn't need to win for them to get their point across as being the next Cena. Anyway, the 10 minutes of boos the next night almost made it worth it.
For sure. Those were the best boos. Roman really should have capitalised and turned heel but Vince won't have him do the turn which is killing his character.
If they are going to turn Roman heel, they need to do it soon, before they declare him the new cena and too risky to lose out on merch sales etc.
I also don't even think Taker has truly retired yet. Part of me thinks that could be a work and was just a write out for him to get the hip replacement.
I think he has retired but if he is feeling good later down the track you never know. He seems like a pretty stubborn type of guy so I wouldn't be surprised if he's like Shawn Michaels and won't come back

Cena and WWE burying Corbin like that was infuriating. I am glad to see Shelton Benjamin back in WWE though.
