Yeah it is brilliant. I also thought it was really strange how Heyman's promo just suddenly ended yesterday. Now I read that it was pulled because Vince was pissed that the crowd were chanting Goldberg sucks. What do you expect when you put Brock in front of his home crowd?
I honestly have no real expectations for the Lesnar vs Goldberg match. Their WM XX match was one of the worst and most over-hyped matches that not even Stone Cold could save.
Although I like Seth Rollins, I just much preferred him as the heel. Much better at being an arsehole than a good guy. I could understand him using the pedigree in the Authority but he should do away with it even now. I hate that they banned the curb stomp because I think there's more dangerous moves that still get used.
Theyve cancelled the nz leg of the australasian NXT tour So gutted....was looking forward to it like crazy
I dont know for sure but i think it was cancelled due to not enough tickets selling so im sure the aussie part of the tour will still go right ahead
Thoughts on the Lesnar v Goldberg match? Not sure how I feel about it tbh. I am very impressed with how good Goldberg looked though. Barely aged.
Part of me thinks they altered the match because he tweaked his shoulder or it was a swerve with the whole 4 hour show angle and it ending bang on 3.5 hours. Obviously theyre setting up for a rematch but would have been good if it went a few minutes more with Lesnar getting some offence in.
I seriously doubt that had anything to do with it. I'd say it's more because no one expected it to happen.
There was talk about Goldberg being injured, but he seemed fine copping the bump on the turnbuckle, 2 spears and delivering the jackhammer to a bloke who weighs 130kg. And it cant be Lesner injured because they wouldn't risk him against Goldberg because he was stiff even when in his prime. Made no sense to me whatsoever.
Look I don't think I mind it tbh. It could've easily been a 15 minute average match that everyone whinged about. This was unique and unexpected and tbh a nice change to see Brock Lesnar on the other side of it for once. This doesn't really dent his career at all or anything.
Just disappointing for the viewers who would have expected a bit of a brawl with a sprinkling of power moves.
