    Legolas remained watchful, surveying the forests from his sentry position in the treetops. As the night went on he remained ever vigilant, but there were no signs of enemy forces within sight.

    As dawn broke he found himself nervous, yet relieved. It was possible that their luck held, and no agents of the Enemy had yet come this far north. Or perhaps there was some evil that would wait them on the other side of this dangerous country. Either way, the fellowship had made it to morning unscathed.
