Man, the Blues squad...did they all come straight out of the ITM Cup? I swear I've never heard of pretty much our entire backline.

I feel the same way. I literally know more people in the other NZ teams than Auckland, and I've lived there my entire life. I did play against the second five, Saili though.

I hardly recognise any names in the Kings either. Just Maku,Watson,Peterson really.

Watch the NPC then. They're all household names and good to see they're investing in local talent again - it's always served Auckland well in the past.

yeah, tbh where else are the players gonna come from ROFLOL

NPC having local talent is a bit of a myth tbf. There's a lot more than in the Super 15 obviously, but it's a bit exaggerated. I know at least a dozen players from Auckland playing for other teams at the moment. They're just targeted earlier while they're at school. The public wouldn't be as aware because they aren't big name players at that stage of their life in that 17-20 age range.

I usually do but I think last season I was totally "rugby'd out" after the world cup. I do remember watching snippets of Piutau breaking the line at will though.

Fucking Blues, spoiled my predictions for the weekend, lol. But I have always had a soft spot for them because of their exciting style of rugby, so good on them, glad to see them back in shape.

I admit that I am one of the Kings haters, and this weekend doesn't change that, although kudos to them for gritting their teeth. But, let's face it, they had the easiest possible match to start off with: The Force, at home. Their next fixture will be against the Sharks, where we will then be able to see what they are really made off, still keeping in mind that they will be playing at home. I reckon that once they start travelling they will be completely done for.

Ok, I fucking hate the Crusaders but someone explain to me why the fuck Dagg's try was disallowed. I know the TMO ruled a double movement but FMD, Ranger slipped off him.

I think it was the action after that.

Ranger got back on him, he was short, another Blues player came in. Dagg pushed forward to get over the line.

Went to the Blues/Saders game. Pretty good atmosphere, and we played surprisingly well. Chris Noakes played quite well too.

I thought it was a try as well.

Yeah, he was shitty last week as well, reckon they must move Ashley Cooper to the back in his place. I haven't seen anything special from him yet.

Btw, shit game so far, SOOOOO many errors.

Liking this camera the refs wear.

Should have an option to watch the entire game from it.

Argh so disappointed. Can't see us winning many playing like that. So much ball in the latter stages and nothing. Not like the 2012 outfit.

This could be a long season........
