Anyone can get it. Perfect quality on your phone. You can use it on iPad and laptop but I think on laptop the screen size is limited
you cant even make it full screen on your laptop and you cant connect hdmi etc either which sucks dicks However if u use firefox get zoom page addon and set it to 240% zoom and it fills my lappy 15' screen. ghey though u cant export to a tv
My tech-head housemate worked it out - found a pretty reliable streaming site that does HD. He'd already tried the Nrl app but apparently you can't chrome cast it.
Yeah this^ I wont be renewing after my trial if I get that baby up and going. You could always get a VPN and set it up to say you're in some part of the world they dont sell the rights then use http://new.livestream.com/nrl also id assume
I'll ask him on Wednesday but I'm 99% sure that's what he did. It has it's downsides (some games have an ad play every 15/20min or so) but it's HD and we haven't had a problem with lag or anything so far.
Yeah I used the livestream site last year and then they started putting ads in and it got frustrating as they would always seem to pick the worst moments to cut out but it is pretty good especially quality wise. I mainly use the telstra app on my iPhone you can go full screen and the quality is perfect. They don't let you go full screen on anything else or let you plug into your tv because then it would completely nullify getting paytv.
NRL isnt the sole reason people get foxtel though imo. was a contributor to me getting foxtel go/play on my. ps3 for a bit but all i really watched was FSN and the sport channels plus bbc top gear channel
