Looking better than your team from last season despite there being another 6 or so teams. Really rate this one.
Well Steyn alone is a massive improvement, and the importance of 2 keepers makes Boucher more important as well, particularly considering how late I picked him up last time. That middle order looks strong enoguh as well.
I think you're going to need to make sure you get a decent #8 though; Hopes/Boucher aren't the strongest #6/7 going around. They're good enough to bat there but they couldn't carry a shit tail.
Yeah I've got my eye on one player who could last until my next pick. The alternative is that if I can find another bit-part bowler and middle order batsman I can open with Dravid (assuming he'll be rated as a top order player) and move Hopes and Boucher down. Obviously not ideal, but I'm not too sure what the difference in quality between a straight out bowler and some of the allrounders left will be.
Yeah the thing about Hopes is the he gives you a few options within the squad. Offers good cover for injury as he could play as either a bowling allrounder or a batting allrounder depending on who else you wanted to pick - hard to find that sort of player at this stage.
