He was responsible partly for letting Cherry-Evans around him. Mind you both Merrin and Tamou missed him first. The line was scattered. So all three were at fault but mostly the first two. Same with his miss on Inglis through the middle. He missed the tackle but it was in cover after Inglis had already broken through Scott. Second one he was most primarily at fault yeah. He did an enormous amount of defence so I can see why he was tired.
Yeah pretty much. If Farah got injured in any of the game this year, you'd have been fucked. Reynolds isn't up to it for many reasons but most especially defence.
Said it last night I think, but just in case will say it again. I think this game (and series) have shown that a lot of us took Cronk for granted. What a pro
Thought Dugan came up with a few good defensive efforts, about the only bloke that's managed to stick some tackles defending up and in for nsw.
I think it's actually more of a self-criticism if you please. The more times you make posts like this the more insecure you seem.
How is the premise delusional? The premise is that Cronk was under-appreciated by Alec, himself, and several others. That's not delusional. It's as accurate as any commentary made or conclusion drawn, about this year's series. Even I, an ardent supporter of his, came to appreciate just what he contributes to our side. Are you kidding me, or do you not know what a premise is? I don't doubt there's an element of self-amelioration but no more than what you said last year, and to say it's only that is nonsense. His at least involves a concession. As I said, you just look insecure carrying on in this manner. Enjoy your win. Nobody's trying to take it away from you, precious.
