I've been shit. As soon as a cut my minutes back and benched myself I had a good game. Going to keep it like that next time around. Seems to be a quality > quantity thing. Macdonald was solid in his first game, going to cut back Humbles minutes and give Macdonald some more.

Mousey, can you give me any more details on the 3rd quarter by any chance? What was the main team for most of that quarter, any tactics etc? Was there something different that we did for us to outplay them in that quarter or did they just play poorer than normal?

 I know right. He's shooting at 31% from 3 this season, averaging less than 1 hit a game

DWTA. You've had a couple of bad ones but you're a defensive beast and with Gayler on the bench you definitely need your defense atm. You might not get huge numbers but you're a key part of the team imo. You contribute with points, boards or assists, whatever is needed. The last couple have been poor, but no need to drop you to the bench yet. If MacDonald keeps his scoring up for a couple more games, maybe, but you're the only genuine option at SF for now.

I think you should start. You weren't great, but you've been much better than Retzel. He's averaging 5 points and 5 rebounds a game, he shouldn't be near the starting lineup. You're going at 13 points and 8 rebounds, and you're getting a steal and 2 blocks to go with that. Clear starter imo.

Well that's when MacDonald went nuts and was on fire. You rolled with Tazewell, Farrell, MacDonald, Downes, Gayler from about the 8 minute mark to the 2 minute mark at that was your most productive time, but that was purely because MacDonald was on a streak and Tazewell was finding him.

The main problem you guys seem to have is defense down the stretch. Manera's a poor defender, but so is Tazewell, Farrell's average but Humble's worse, Schaw's a machine, Downes is ok and Retzel's just average too. I'm not sure how to solve it tbh because all of your late game collapses (besides this one) happened with both you and Schaw on the court. Maybe it's just bad luck? I dunno, because you've definitely got the pieces to compete in the playoffs, offensively at least.

Hope we follow this win with another. Got to keep the momentum going.

Indeed. At least we are getting back on track with solid production across the board.

I wouldn't get your hopes up because you beat us tbh. We jag a win here and there but mostly gift the opposition victory.

    A fair few TO's.

    12 assists to Gemmell, beast.

What needs to happen is people need to stop signing up as "scoring" or "three point specialists" roles.

I swear every new person who signs up is a SF.

Yea. I'd just hate to think what would happen to my activity if we started losing every game

    Unlucky Phantoms.

It feels good to star in my debut, just a pity about the result.

Indeed a good debut. I've given you a bit extra court time for our next match, hopefully you can keep performing like this.
