    Should be kept in mind whenever Athlai makes a pick that he's mainly picking a team of favourites because he has inside info.

    But there's nothing really wrong with Southee getting picked now; he's averaging 22 or since recall.

    I may be picking a team of players I like, but I still expect to have a very competitive team.

    Southee is legitimately in the top 15 bowlers in the world and I am 95% Cribb's sim would agree with this. He is also probably on the higher end of the batting scale there. And of those guys he gets the big bonus of being a Kiwi.
