Try saving tackle from Ben Herd on Sam Somerset. The Crabs retain possession, but Phifteenplus' pass out to his back goes awry as Furball drops the ball cold.

A case of handbags here early on as Ishan Narang faces down Herr Burger following some disagreement at the scrum. Narang suggesting that Burger was thumping him in the ribs rather than binding. The ref saw nothing. NOTHING!

Crabs are fluffing their opportunities so far in this game. A good line out, won by Martyn 15m from the Vikings line saw the ball distributed well through Phifteenplus and then on the crash from Dong. The ball was spread to Phlegm who was tackled by James.

The Crabs looked to drive towards the line through their forwards, but Hurricane was nailed by Delonge who forced the turnover.

Boland then dropped the ball, but du Toit was penalised for illegal binding at the resulting scrum and the danger was averted.

Line out to the Crabs 20m on the Vikings side of halfway. Good throw by Man, taken by Force. The ball is spread amongst the backs to Furball.

Well timed tackle from Boland assisted by Narang and Delonge forces the turnover. Furball gets up whinging that Narang had his thumbs around his eyes but replays show it's just classic Scotchman whinging.

The Vikings spread the ball to Jacobs, but Burger has his number and another turnover this time for the Crabs. Phlegm goes for a tactical kick and finds touch 10m from the line.

The Crabs fluff another chance as Ryabovol lets a pass from Geraint Martyn slip through his fingers.

Terrible game so far, this.

Got to make the most of our ball given there's no way we're likely to keep the points down. Some nice aggression but too many errors so far.

Disaster for the Vikings with two significant injuries in as many minutes. Firstly, Aaron Hunt is forced back in the tackle and it looks like he may have suffered some hyper-extension in the knee joint. He has to be stretchered off.

Only moments later, Mate Perry pulls up lame and the Vikings have lost both pivots.

 

Darts and Bots replace them and the Vikings have a back line reshuffle.
