Good gain from Funkotron there. 20m into Hurricanes territory now. He's tackled by Fittaman. Torres looks keen for the turnover, but Read and Welker smash him off the top and secure clean ball.

Taylor receives the ball from Hornby and bashes Pilgrim out of the way. Good strength there.

Taylor back to Hornby - good burst into the space created by Taylor. Under pressure from Torres though, he passes to Dempsey. Only a 5m from the line here, and Dempsey's tackled by Ames. Great tackle, but atrocious handling. Dempsey's dropped the ball forward. Scrum to the Hurricanes. Poor end to a good move from the Gamblers there.

 

Nah, you're gone brother. Shame, as you put in a couple of good tackles early there.

Just on the Hurricanes side of halfway here. Tom Clough on the run, but he's tackled by Welker. Great tackle, and Clough has been isolated. The whistle goes - not releasing the ball.

Ben Taylor finds touch 20m up field - just 20m from the Hurricanes line now.

Poor discipline here from the Canes again. That's another penalty - Torres pinged for line out interference. The slo-mo replay shows that's a good call. This leads to some pushing and shoving between Torres and Welker. Welker looks set to let fly with a punch, but Read pulls him away.

Taylor with another kick. Yep - right in the corner - they're wanting the try here. Probably a good call with the tough angle for the 3 points.

Line out again. Taken well by Morgan from a good throw by the stand in hooker, Dempsey. A maul forms, and the Gamblers' forwards strength is driving this one forward...

 

...there's nothing the Hurricanes forwards can seemingly do to stop the Gamblers' momentum here. It was always going to be tough to stop them from only a couple of metres out. Morgan secures the try for the Gamblers.

Taylor with a tough conversion attempt... But that's a good kick.
