Yep it would be just like an 8 point try, they would get the penalty and the only option they get is to kick for goal.
All I'm getting is a flashback to Graham the other week, telling the ref not to be scared to blow a penalty in the last few minutes.
Grahams hit on Reynolds was no more a penalty than his sweet nothings he whispered into Billy Slaters ear.
- Bullshit - Wouldn't happen with other fans I can't believe your stance here. What has happened is an utter disgrace IMO.
Was gonna say something but then remembered Jared Maxwell getting tackled by that fan after the game. That was campbelltown and the wests side tho. Plus we actually did get robbed. meh.
It's a terrible, terrible look for the game and club. More concerning are unsubstantiated reports of behaviour from dogs fans towards members of the public post game.
It is disgusting. Feel sorry for the bloke who broke his collarbone because of a bottle. It's definitely not the first time that dogs fans have been the culprits. Many of them were banned for life back in 03-05 when they were tearing up seats, setting off flares and doing the same sort of shit.
There was a group of Bulldogs fans (the fuckwit with a drum at every Dogs game) that were walking up and trying to stand over any South's fans that were cheering after the game. Scattered like cockroaches when the cops came though.
lol, I dunno if some of you are just trolling or just looking to sink the boot in. This kind of behaviour happens across fans of all teams in all codes. You all seem to be conveniently ignoring Souths fans doing the same thing a couple years ago, or the example Lukic gave where a Wests fan actually ran onto the field to assault the ref, or the 80's Origin incident which was way way way worse. Or when 50-60 Sydney soccer fans fought with police in 2012 or the whole host of sport related crowd violence that has occurred around the world. Obviously throwing shit at the ref and acting violent is the wrong behaviour and not representative of something we should encourage. But it's a societal issue, not one that is solely contained to the fanbase of the Bulldogs. To pull up an incident that happened ten to twelve years ago as if it's some kind of corroborating evidence and make statements that it wouldn't happen with other fans is fucking ridiculous. What makes a Bulldogs fan act violent? The same kind of things that make any other person violent - a lack of respect for others, inebriation, group mentality, insecurity in their identity, stupidity, racial tension. Not simply being a fan. Point your finger elsewhere.
I'm not denying Dogs fans don't act like fuckwits but you see brawls nearly every week. Last year a Souths fan king hit a tigers fan but you wouldn't have heard of that. But if it was a Dogs fan you would of.
Yeah, I assume they were the ones sitting in the GA at the Eels/ Dogs game. Just a bunch of young lebo fuckwits from what I could see.
As the lead ref, he sent it upstairs.......delivered the ruling, blew the whistle, etc etc. Out of the match officials "team", he's what the media and disgruntled fans have to focus on.
Lol at Jaycar's owner claiming that the NRL should award the dogs 2 points and that he'd have cut hasler a cheque to cover a 10k fine.
Wouldn't say it's quite as bad but I have dealt with some pretty bad Cronulla fans at Shark Park before. Some of them can be a nasty bunch to other teams fans after a game.
