lol WTF the Warriors had that packed well before the siren, Ben Hunt just fed it before he was meant to.
Well played Brisbane. Too good. If we lose to the Storm next weekend, McFadden better start looking over his shoulder tbh. Need to bring Hurrell back in now and try someone else over Robson...but can't really see that happening. He's too stubborn.
We've been shit over the past fortnight, but the fact we've beaten 2 sides that actually played alright; I'm stoked.
Lol they're fucking shit. Plain and simple. As soon as their ball control dropped even slightly, they got carved by an underperforming Broncos side.
"Shit" is harsh. We actually competed really well against probably the best team in the comp for the first 55 minutes before injuries and fitness took their toll. Disappointing scoreline in the end but slight improvement from last week.
He wasn't that bad tonight, but why on earth did they sign Robson. Imagine that conversation. ' So ah were signing Sheck, Luke and....ah....um Robson, yeah Jeff Robson. its like having 2 mil to start areal estate portfolio and getting a beach house on the central coast, a townhouse in the eastern suburbs and an abandoned drug den in Mt Druitt and wondering how the bargain out West isn't working out for you.
Look for Johnson to have a blinder next week and Warriors to get up. Apparently he had 1 run at the line tonight, he's gonna cop a lot of shit this week and he should respond.
To be fair to Warriors, they probably thought they were getting the cool-head that they need. Might have been a decent call 3-4 years ago. In saying that, Robson was alright tonight. Certainly played better than Johnson and RTS. Is Leuluai injured or something?
Nah it's not really. To complete 30 from 35 and still be beaten by 3 tries is pretty unheard of. 80 minutes of footy and the best you can come up with is a scoot from dummy-half? The minute they weren't on the front foot, they dropped their bundle. Defence was terrible. Attack was clueless and erratic. Kicking game was all over the shop. The only positive was controlling the middle and field position for 2 thirds of the game. It amounted to nought, however and that's what's even more concerning. To dominate territory and possession and still never really look like winning is alarming, I would say. And as I said, as soon as it swung in Brisbane's favour, they scored quite easily.
