In Scotland there has become more of a trend lately for players who left to go to bigger have been coming back to their original clubs. The notable 2 probably being Kris Boyd to Kilmarnock and James McFadden to Motherwell. It got me thinking of guys who were at my club in their younger days and then moved to better things when they were getting into their peak.

If you could pick one former youngster from your club who moved on to come back who would it be?

    Wayne Rooney.

  3. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

    Pique probably.

Though Pogba is looking pretty gun atm. Even if he's a twat

  4. Baxter MJ Deane

    Sexy Cesc

  5. Teja. HBK Teja

So it's your nationality that made you want to go back!

It's good that you accept that the Ravens are a bigger club, Callum. :p

  6. Arheiner SIA Yates

    Joleon Lescott.

Cant think of a youngster, but would take Xabi back in a heartbeat.

  8. Cevno IV Narang

    Tom Ince for Liverpool ?

Pique suits Spanish league more anyway, plus will have way more competition at United right now than he as at Barca.

Pogba is the obvious one but he is a twat as you say. While Ravel Morrison is a wannabe gangster and we don't need a GK in Zieler.

Also, Giussepe Rossi is long term injured so somehow i'll use it as a excuse and bring back a personal favorite of mine in Magnus Eikrem.

Where do I start with bradford, Andre Wisdom, Tom Cleverly, Fabian Delph and probably many more where they came from, and that makes from premier league to league 2 even harder to swallow when you look at the players we have lost

Probably the only one, so decent shout.

However, still think Ibe will be better than both Ince and Sterling in the future.

Have noticed that in SA too btw; Benni McCarthy, Bernard Parker, Siboniso Gaxa, Tsepo Masilela, Stanton Fredericks and many more have arrived back in SA over the past 2-3 years.

For Wits it'd have to be a young Gary Bailey.

    Man City - Balotelli :ninja:

Big call that considering Sterling is already proven in the Premier League at 17.

I understand its a big call, but I believe I'll be proven right. I have such high hopes for Ibe.

Already gone back and has found his level clearly.

  18. SuperNova SJ Nova

Klose, Ballack, Halil Altintop, Weidenfeller (even though FCK's current keeper is great)

I guess technically Klose/Ballack/Altintop weren't in the youth system, but all signed for us from in their teens so close enough.

Was speaking from a United POV, not going back to his own country.

Anyway, reckon he can play at a higher level, imo in the future. Might not be United level but Ajax may buy him to replace Erikksen in the summer.

United rated him highly enough to only sell to Ole at Molde and also put in a buyback clause. Sir Alex didn't want him to leave but he needed regular football now.

I think that's fairly common for fergie to do that.

Did it with Shawcross. Put a first option buy clause for any offer accepted on him
