Alan Shearer will not let this happen. He is just too cool.

yeah i think hulls run home makes me think that newcastle are probably safe

  3. MatthewJay TA Miokovic

    Newcastle may just save themselves.

  4. Bibu07 BI Immanuel

Rob I take it you're a Sunderland fan?? :p Good to have you back mate :)
Nah, I think they're safe now. Still reckon Hull will choke and Boro's gone imv.

    Latest results:
    Newcastle United 0-1 Fulham
    Middlesbrough 1-1 Aston Villa
    Bolton Wanderers 1-1 Hull City

WBA, Portsmouth and Sunderland (italics) also have still to play, but here's how the table looks at the moment:

    ---------------------
    15. Portsmouth - 38 (-20)
    16. Sunderland - 36 (-17)
    17. Hull City - 35 (-24)
    18. Newcastle United - 34 (-18)
    19. Middlesbrough - 32 (-28)
    20. West Bromwich Albion - 31 (-29)

The only way Middlesbrough can avoid relegation now is if they win on the final day of the season, while Newcastle and Hull lose with the latter losing by enough for Boro to close the goal difference gap.

Still think Newcastle will do a Houdini.

Would be one hell of a Championship league if Newcastle and Boro are to go down though.

i doubt if newcastle will get a point at villa next week, i also think middelsborough and WBA are already gone so for me, its already decided.

also does anyone think man utd will play a bunch of kids since they have locked up the title?

Yeh, I mentioned it in the EPL thread.
Could do what Man U did to West Ham a few seasons ago.

I hope Newcastle don't go down but then again I really want to see Hull City say in the EPL.

totally friggin sick, after the Toon's match today. I honestly can't see us avoiding relegation now. It will be an absolute travesty for the money paying public, and Mike Ashley should hang his head in shame, at what he has done to a once proud club.

Can't see Newcastle getting out of it now! will be a shame to see such a big club in the championship.

Id rather a new club stayed up and changed things about a bit tbh.

I am happy if newcastle and middlesborugh go down, it will be a change of who normally get relegated into the championship and promoted into the premier league
