Yep, like in the ore battle write up, the two words were exactly correct. Dragon rage ripped right hrough Skippos line up without any issues for Dratini.

Bellsprout Mankey Zubat def by Drowzee Butterfree Rattata Zubat

Bellsprout initially hit with poison powder, before holding on after hit with confusion, and then missed with sleep powder and was finished. Drowzee then 1hko both mankey and zubat with confusion.


Droos def by Reagen

Meowth Pidgey NidoranF Mankey def by Horsea Pidgeotto Clefairy Venonat

Meowth V Horsea was very tight, trading blows with each other of bite, water gun and bubblebeam, but it was in fact Meowth that got over the top, with the aid of some flinching from horsea. Pidgeotto then finished meowth with Quick attack straight up. Pidgey then cam out, and attempted to lower its foes accuracy before hitting, but pidgeotto was simply too powerful, and then mopped up both nidoranF and Mankey with little difficulty.

Zubat Mankey Farfetch'd Spearow def by Koffing Tangela Mankey Zubat Venonat

Koffing began with tackle, which didn't finish zubat, and zubat then tried to hit koffing with supersonic, but missed and was finished next turn. Then mankey copped clear smog, was hit with a weak fury swipes, and then sent from the battle next turn with clear smog. Farfetch'd then brought the fight, hitting respectably with aerial ace, and took a couple of clear smog hits, and fainted, although koffing was low on health. Spearow was next out, and had a type advantage over everything after koffing, so it was a vital match up. Koffing hit with clear smog first, and then was fainted by fury attack. Tangela then came out, and put spearow to sleep, and then hit with constrict three times before spearow woke with peck, but tangela was simply too high a level, putting spearow back to sleep and spamming constrict for the victory.

Chris473 def by AVA

Vulpix Beedrill Spearow V Vulpix Spearow Pidgey Paras Geodude Metapod

Vulpix on vulpix opened the battle, and Chris opened up by confusing his opponent, who hurt itself first up, and was then trapped by fire spin, hurting itself gain. chris' stuck with ember, and beat AVA's but was confused later in the piece. Spearow then came in and hit hard with fury attack, and with vulpix confused, and only landing one attempt of ember before spearow knocked it out with some good fortune from fury attack. Beedrill was then victim to some violent peck attacks, and was unlucky with fury attack, faling victim to spearow. Chris' spearow then removed AVA's, and then beat Pidgey, but was critically low on health. However, therre was enough left to take out Paras, but geodude finished the battle for AVA.
