Pokemon Showdown Draft

    Alright taking things into my own hands here.

    I reckon a draft would be killer for this since random battle is too chance based.

    I'm putting in these rules:

    1) Generation 1 or 2 Pokemon
    2) Lugia, Ho-Oh, Mewtwo, Mew and Celebi are banned (OP).
    3) All pokemon are level 100
    4) Party of 6
    5) You may choose any item to equip on your pokemon but no more than 2 of any item in your party.
    6) Your pokemon can have any moveset permitting they can learn it in Gen 2.


    Thoughts?

    Dunno why you'd limit it to gen 2 seeing as everything on Showdown uses modern mechanics like abilities and physical/special moves that can't be removed

    Awww, I was being serious. I mean, I played Gen 3 as i was like 10 at the time and I don't remember any of those pokemon.

    Well if people want to be nostalgic that's fine, but my point is on Showdown you have to use abilities and moves are split into physical/special, so you won't be playing it the old way whether you like it or not.

    Gen 2 is physical/special.

    Pokemon aren't shit cunts past gen 2 either.

    Gen 3 has like maybe 5 cool pokemon.

    So stupid. I reacted badly to a new generation for the first time with Gen V but even now it's grown on me heaps. Not sure why people are so elitist/too lazy to actually try the newer generations but it annoys me when people say dumb things like that
