I've already stated that the cap will be large enough to allow for all teams to re-sign their guys, so I don't think that's really an issue. As far a allowing struggling teams to return to the top quicker, yeah, that's the aim. No-one likes to be on the bottom for an extended amouint of time, and anything that gets the active guys spread out across the competition can only be a good thing, imo. Also, there's a max of 5 sig skills in game, so yeah, massively ridiculous contracts aren't going to happen. People may over pay, but that's their right if they want a certain player they know will improve and be active. The only downside I see, so far, is what Hunter said - cunts like Diggler maxxing themselves out - but there's 10 people who can do that, and most will want what's better for the team imo.
I thought signature skills only really worked in games the user plays/watches anyway. I've certainly never seen a difference in simulated games, anyway.
Yeah, it's tough to see if there is any difference, but the same could be said in game too. Worst case, they're effective in live games and finals I guess.
Actually, that said, it mightn't even be worth forking out extra cash when you could sign an extra player for some teams. Maybe it's best I leave it then, if the benefits aren't so obvious.
Should only be abilities yoh allow for specificplayers. Like letting a sharp shooter using athletic skills or someone who doesnt defend well being a pocket picker. Sig skills should enhance a ppayers best facets rather then strengthen their weaknesses imo
Of course. You wouldn't get to choose any old skills - you'd either have it given by myself or select from a small pool.
Don't really know what to think of this. Could be awesome if it plays out well or could be a disaster.
Very much like both ideas. Don't think the signature skills would add much benefit though for the reasons outlined by skippos.
