Kyle Flanagan is pretty ordinary imo.
Yep, 7 games in first grade with 5 try assists and two line break assists. Very ordinary
Sold him short there. That’s all in the 6 games this year. What an ordinary year
Gagai apparently wants out because he wants to be seen as more than a winger
He'll end up signing for some lower tier club only for him to inevitably be switched back to the wing when that club realises he's not much of a centre.
Happens too often.
Yeh can't say I've been overly impressed from what I've seen from him.
The funny thing is, I think wing is actually a more important position than centre in the modern game and probably deserves more praise/salary cap allocation for all but the absolute freaks. So to be more than a winger he'd have to become a fullback -- something I kind of think he could do, but also a position he's made clear he actually hates.
Yeah wanting to play centre is a very strange hill to die on. I can't really think of many centres out there that demand more of a salary cap investment than wingers (outside of all the 'fullbacks' who got paid overs and then shifted into centre when they turned out to be shit at fullback).
Cleary seen two thirds of sweet fuck all then this year. He’s licking your halfbacks arse in stats this year.
DWZ gone to the dogs
Kallum Watkins is joining titans in july
That came out of nowhere Tbh. Will be interesting how he goes. Should have came over 5 years ago however.
It could be good for them, though English backs haven't been anywhere as good as their forwards.
Surely the Dogs proposal of 11mil over 10 years for Latrell Mitchell is not real. Surely.....
Latrell definitely wouldn’t go missing.
I'd have him at NQ tbh. Good excuse to get rid of O'Neill.
I wonder if he just wants to be seen as more than a winger because centres get paid more. If so that could be fixed - just tell him he's worth more as a winger than almost every centre in the game (which is true IMO, especially if he stops sulking about it) and pay him accordingly.
I still can't believe wingers are so underrated these days. The crazy shit they have to do, you'd have a star winger before a star centre pretty much every time IMO.
Its just simple supply and demand. There's just far more serviceable wingers running around than there are centres hence at the top end centres are always going to be paid more.
Centre is by far the least influential position on the field.
