    I don't think you can judge Cornish on this year at all. Stuart used him in 15-20 minute spurts off the bench. Absolutely ridiculous coaching.

    My thoughts on Cornish are that he's not a first grader and probably won't be though. He's had a good junior career but to me he just looks soooo limited as a player. Hope he proves me wrong though. Williams was a much, much more dominant junior player than him as well IMO.

    I still think Williams is a first grader and I hope Canberra bring in him and Austin. Because if they bring in Williams it'd almost undoubtedly be on a second tier Mounties contract. I won't give up on Williams until all is lost pretty much because of the likes of Ben Hunt and Blake Austin. Both absolutely gun juniors (that Williams was on par with, he was better than hunt though) who haven't really put it together until aged 23 or so...which I think is completely understandable.

    Yeah at St George he was competing with Witt and Quinlan for his spot so he kept getting dropped every third week. Played like complete arse as a result. He had some more extended periods of selection in the Canberra side and went okay (not 'good', but okay).

    He showed things that made good judges optimistic -- he was promising -- but I don't think he'd really started contributing to the point of being 'good' yet. At St George he was abysmal but that was somewhat to be expected.

    I was talking about Mark Minichiello. Don't really have a lot against him tbh but he's definitely passed it and Robinson is a big upgrade.

    The Doggies faithful were talking him up, hoping Dessie would give him a crack at first grade. I reckon they'll be thinking Burr is one that got away.
